About the event
The senior basketball players in our area are an extraordinarily talented group of athletes and this matchup between the best of the best will prove to be an exciting night for basketball. The Area All Star Classic is the only event of its kind in this area designed to celebrate and showcase the talent and success of the seniors in our region. Each year this event grows and is attended by thousands of members of our community. Athletes competing in this exhibition has been anonymously selected and vetted as we require all athletes that are involved with FABO events to conduct their personal and competitive lives in a manner that brings honor to themselves, their home team and our sponsors. The main event is preceded by a day of high impact AAU basketball competitions from area teams ranging from 4th – 11th grade

The Fredericksburg Area Basketball Association is the leading athletic training programs in the region, and we have a long track record of excellence both in athletic competition and academic achievement. FABO was created not only showcase the talents of the athletes we train but also to provide a venue within the community where young people can come and be a part of a healthy and athletic atmosphere.

An investment in the Area All-Star classic is a two-fold reward. Your generosity provides the following opportunities.
- Awards and fun surprises for the athletes showcased in this year’s event(s).
- Scholarship towards athletes involved with FABO that need help with training, team fees, and travel. It is FABO’s policy not to turn away any athlete who has rightfully earned a spot in the organization due to their inability to pay. Some of the very players who need this program most are often the players who come from tough socioeconomic backgrounds.
